"room reservation mix-up?"
- We made a reservation in Jan. 2014 for a room with a balcony which we paid for at the same time. WHen we arrived on Sept. 28 we were shown to a room without a balcony. I said we had a room with a balcony. THe young man went off to check and returned saying he did not know about this but was checking. He returned again and said that the rooms with balconies were filled for tonight but we could have one tomorrow night. I asked if some of our money for the first night would be given back to us. He left, then returned again saying there was a room open after all with a balcony and led us down the stairs to a balcony room. This all lasted about half an hour. Other than this, we had a very good stay at your hotel, liked your front desk staff very much, liked the location of the hotel. Best of all, later in our trip we actually went to the Zeugma which was absolutely wonderful. We then went to the Mosaic Museum in Gazientap. What an amazing museum! Anonim

"It's a perfect starting point to enjoy the beautiful istanbul!"
- We stayed at the Zeugma hotel for 5 nights in November. It was our first trip to Istanbul and the hotel's location was ideal for exploring all of the city's main attractions. The Zeugma was only a few minutes walk, as other have already said, to the Blue Mosque, Cisterns, Palace, etc.Although somewhat touristy, all the restaurants nearby offered tasty food and there were also a number of narghile bars within about 50 metres of the hotel, which were good fun!
Hotel staff were helpful, but largely stayed out of your way. They booked a couple of tours for us and organised transfers, but weren't in any way pushy.
The room was cute, clean and adequately equipped - nothing fancy, though who really spends much time in the room in Istanbul?!
Breakfast was included - delicious freshly squeezed juice, Turkish coffee and pastries.
A quick warning - though the hotel has free WiFi, note that we found the internet in Turkey to be very flakey anywhere we went.. so perhaps organise anything important online in advance of your visit.
Above all, this hotel represented very good value for money and is perfect for a first visit to Istanbul.

"bon hôtel idéalement situé"
- nous revenons d'Istanbul où nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable! c'est une ville magnifique , pleine de belles choses à voir. il faut y aller !!l'HÔTEL zeugma est très bien : propre, personnel très souriant et serviable, superbe terasse. petit déjeuner copieux avec tout ce qu'il faut (thé café fruits céréales pain beurre fromage charcuterie...ect) chambres un peu petite mais largement CORRECTE pour y dormir, salle de bain propre et refaite à neuf. bonne literie. rien à dire sur la qualité du service! un point très positif et non négligeable est que l'hôtel est situé à seulement quelques minutes de beaucoup d'endroits à voir : 3min du palace de Topkapi , 4 min de la mosquée bleue et de sainte Sophie , 5 min à pieds du Bosphore (pour faire une croisière très agréable), 2 min de la grande rue où passe le tramway avec toutes les boutiques sur les trottoirs, 10 min à pied du grand bazar qui vous fera rejoindre le bazar égyptien (bien moins cher) . vous pourrez aller directement au bazar égyptien en 15 min il y a de belles choses à voir dans toutes les rues ! faites tout à pied vous ne serez pas déçus! pont de galata et TOUR de galata en 20 min et en poussant un peu il vous faudra marcher encore 20 min pour arriver à la place taksim ! tout est possible à pied c'est beaucoup plus agréable et enrichissant ! je conseille cet hôtel et surtout je conseille de visiter Istanbul !!!

"Amazing Place to Stay"
- Instantly was made to feel at home. The staff are very knowledgeable and nice and always willing to give advice or help. They provide free maps of Istanbul which are extremely helpful and can get you a cab for below the going rate. I recommend a quiet room in the back of the hotel as the main street is full of restuarants, shops and lively night life which is great for relaxing, but good to be away from if you are an early riser (like me). The breakfast is good and the lady who makes it is very kind. There are some quick markets nearby for bottled water or snacks which is a big help for starting or ending your day. I highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again.
