- Tigmi Nomade is one of a kind. Its "wealth" lies with its owner Mohamed, who has spent 10+ years creating this unique home only a short drive from Marrakesh. Totally idylic and with incredible attention to artisan crafting - two centuries of living seem to happily blend between the oasis of TN and the surrounding homes and countryside. Mohamed is the star attraction. We booked him to drive us for 2 of our 4 day stay, seeing sights well away from the usual tourist haunts. The location of TN is definitely tricky to find as there is no real road, and certainly no road signs, - so unless you have done this kind of VERY remote location before, dont bother hiring a car. Get Mohamed to arrange transport from the start to the finish. Food - delicious tagines with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast could be a little more varied but the rose petals scattered at dinner time and on the beds together with wonderful laid back service more than made up for that. Beautiful linens and towels - and the new pool gorgeous. A pity it was absolutely freezing but then we did choose to visit in February - and the lack of tourists, plus the stunning weather we enjoyed all week really made up for any lack of quick dips. Both days out on tour were magical - and having the owner as our guide really added to our stay. My advice:- Go and stay soon as retaining this amazing authentic, restful and simply stunning place will soon inevitably lose some of its charm once it becomes more "discovered".
Thank you Mohamed for giving us such a memorable, and fabulous stay to mark a family celebration. V,I D & J
