Tärnaby Rooms & Apartments is Situated in Tärnaby Swedish Lapland in the ski resort of Hemavan-Tärnaby, we provide winter and summer holiday apartments / houses and self-catering rooms for families with young children or teenagers and for couples , not groups of adults. Choose from our spacious family rooms and family suites or our 7 bed Family Boat House , 5 bed Family Top House or our three bedroom Family Lake house. ( 9 +3 beds ) All have wonderful views and are circa 1 km from the ski slopes. All the properties face directly over the lake. Winter walking/skiing on the frozen lake and in summer canoeing /swimming.
Location
Tärnaby is located in Southern Lapland, about 900 kms North of Stockholm, 360 kms North of the University City of Umeå and lies close to the Norwegian border. Tärnaby is 19 km south of Hemavan Airport and 117km south of the city of Mo i Rana in Norway. The Atlantic coast of Norway is just over an hour's drive away with spectacular fjords and beautiful islands to see and discover.
Special Features
The ski town of Tärnaby ( TÆRNABY, Taernaby ) is linked to Hemavan to form Tärnaby-Hemavan Ski Resort. The towns are about 17kms apart and your lift-pass covers all the lifts in both towns. The ski-season starts in November and finishes at the end of April or in early May.
We have reduced our portfolio of apartments so we can concentrate on our 3 main properties . We have our Top House perched on a hill with beautiful views of the lake and mountains, our Boat House and our Lake House, also all with wonderful views.
Depending on the season, the Lake House is either rented out by individual rooms , large family suites or as a complete house.

There is a bakery/cafe located circa 400 meters away and also a pizzeria / bistro . There is another pub-restaurant 1.2 km's south.
