"It is the staff"
- Let me start by saying that this hotel is all about the staff. They are simply wonderful, and make you feel like family, They are all great but Renata goes out of her way to be helpful, and Mario, the night manager is a pure treasure. Get to know him, he is funny, gracious and a true gentleman. At first we felt that the hotel was a bit too far out of town, but quickly learned that there were a number of great bars within short walking distance, and Uber is very easy to use to get into town or to go to the beach. We took Uber to the beach at Praia do Luz daily and it was approximately 8 euros. Old town, about half of that.
The rooms are not larger, although I think that they very significantly. We wanted to say in the $100.00 night range, so not surprisingly ours was a bit small, but more than adequate. Decent storage. Good size bathroom, with a good “rain” shower head. Nice balcony off of the room, where we enjoyed a glass of wine every night. I would ask for a room in the back of the hotel, Over looking the pool or the courtyard. We faced the street, although it was not too busy.
Beautiful grounds, and a very nice pool and clean sunning area. Stop looking, book this hotel.”

"Amazing stay, lovely place!"
- We had such a great stay at Solar de Mos in Lagos in September! The weather was beautiful, and the B&B was lovely. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Our room was in the main building, and fully updated and lovely. Location is great - not too busy. About 20minute walk to Lagos and any beach! Would definitely stay there again. Debra

- Wir waren nun schon das dritte Mal hier und es war hervorragend wie immer. Da wir rechtzeitig gebucht hatten haben wir auch unser Wunschzimmer bekommen.Wir haben alles sehr genossen, das Hotel, das Frühstück und besonders die Mitarbeiter, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit.
