"Exceeded expectations!"
- I highly recommend Riad Ilayka! Days after my visit I'm still astounded by the hospitality, graciousness, and kindness we experienced during our stay. Abdul was amazing! He's very generous with his time, and extremely helpful. He made the experience at Ilayka first rate. Thank you!

"Wonderful stay at Riad llayka "
-  I highly recommend this Riad. The staff are exceptional, always friendly and willing to help with anything. The food in the Riad is also amazing although you do have to book but it is well worth it and dining in the open air courtyard amongst the foliage is lovely. The room was very clean if somewhat on the small side and no door key took some getting used to but it is perfectly secure and a room safe is supplied. Bed was on the firm side which I prefer. Roof deck is nice but only have a few sun beds with a plunge pool. Location is a bit tricky and walking through the markets can be a nuisance but overall very good experience and would stay again if in Marrakech

"A great Riad in a great city"
- We wanted an autumn break to somewhere with plenty of sun and plenty of interest. Having never been to Morocco we decided to try Marrakech and selected the Riad Ilayka after much study of the hotel reviews. It sounded just what we wanted and it turned out to be all that we hoped for. The decor, facilities and service were unbeatable and the food, both breakfast and the two evening meals we ate there were excellent and gave us a real taste of local food.
It is a little surprising to find yourself walking to the Riad through the souk and various narrow alleys but once you are through the door it is a different world. Every comfort and lots of space hidden behind the walls of the alleys. Meals were taken in the central riad among the trees and there are is a large roof space to relax in the sun (or shade). So an excellent choice and we particularly appreciated the very helpful and attentative staff and managers. We felt we had made new friends.
