"Quiet and Safe. Helpful staff with a talented chef."
- Margarita House is located outside of Nairobi in a gated and guarded residential area. It is clean, with a helpful staff and a talented young chef. The somewhat suburban location results in a quiet and safe stay. However, since the location isn't near any major road, you must rely on prearranged transportation if you wish to visit any of the city’s sites. This isn’t much of a problem but more cost sensitive travelers should be advised that since the B&B uses a fixed price service from Point 2 Point travel, the relatively low price of Margarita house can be quickly offset by a-la-carte travel costs. *Note – Traffic on the 2 lane Langata road is a nightmare at busy times and worse if it rains. Allow extra travel time as a 20 minute trip can easily turn into an hour.

"Great Place to Stay"
- Karen is a nice and safe neighbourhood with a lot of tourist attractions in the local vicinity - Nairobi Game Park; Giraffe Centre; Karen Blixon Museum.Margarita House is both comfortable and secure and is an ideal base away from central Nairobi.
Secure, clean, and with great staff...
Looking forward to seeing Joel and the crew again next time we're in Nairobi.

"Ideal location for Nairobi"
- A nice quiet, comfortable but secure location (with a 10,000 volt electric fence...!) With attentive courteous staff and spotlessly clean rooms.Highly recommended.
