Transport Information to City
We do recommend our guests to travel to Lamu by plane. The cheapest airlines are Skyward Express from Nairobi-Wilson Airport (also from Mombasa), East African Air (from Nairobi-Wilson Airport and from Malindi) and Fly540 from Nairobi-Jomo Kenyatta Airport (also from Malindi).
In case you will be traveling by bus let us know the bus company & departure time from Mombasa or Malindi so that we can wait for you at the jetty in Lamu. The best bus company is Tawakal Bus. The bus journey from Mombasa takes around 7 if it's not raining.

We wait for our guests at Manda Airport and at the jetty in Lamu (bus arrivals)
Please let us know the airline & arrival time or the bus company and departure time from Mombasa, Malindi or Kilifi so that we can wait for you. JamboHouse does not charge anything for pick up, you only have to pay boat fare for yourself. In case you need help with the luggage you have to pay for the porter.
