- Nice stay & hospitality. In particular, Mr Hakan and the in-house staff are very positive and forthcoming in their approach and attitude to help the guests feel good. It was a pleasant stay.

"Modest Sultanahmet Hotel"
- This is a small hotel located just steps from the Blue Mosque and a small bazaar. The rooms are small, old but quaint. The room had the basic amenities. The air conditioner worked great and kept the room cool during a heat wave. Breakfast was adequate for our needs. There is no elevator but the staff willingly carried our bags to and from our room on the third floor. The roof deck was lovey but no shade and was too hot for daytime use.

"Good place to stay"
- Since we arrived with my partner the staff had an excellent mood, welcomed us with respect and were very atentive. They explained us very well the breakfast schedules, room services, check-in and out.

When we needed something extra such as water boiler, an iron, an extra blanket or wathever it was for ourselves, they were really kind and helpful.

Even the cleaning service for our room was good.

I think that they can get better at renovating the terrace, which needed a little of paint or maintenance. In general, the hotel is ideal for families with kids, couples or older people that really want to rest and stay in a well located area, near to Sultanahmet.

"Old school but welcoming"
- A lovely family run hotel with attentive and very helpful staff (they even managed to contact our taxi as we were en route to the airport as we forgot a watch!). A bit tired, perhaps, and shows a bit of age, but is clean and well situated. The terrace is very underused but has a lovely view of the Sea of Marmora so worth taking a coffee up.

A good base to explore from but not a place necessarily to hang out in.
