"no frills gem!"

- I really enjoyed my 8 nights at Hotel Emek. The location is close to public transportation and walking distance to many of the sights in old Istanbul. The staff are friendly and my room, although small, was clean and well kept. I liked the free breakfast buffet -- self-service, each morning. The hotel is located on a quiet street and I slept undisturbed, despite leaving the window open. I will definitely stay here again.
