Transport Information to City
From the Cancun Airport:
Playa del Carmen and Hotel Cielo is a 50 minute drive south from the Cancun International airport. Arriving guests have four different ways to get from the Cancun Airport to Hotel Cielo; airport taxi, private transportation, public vans and the public bus.
Taxi from the airport - are for up to 3 people direct to Hotel Cielo. This service can be arranged directly at the airport in any terminal.
Private transportation - can be arranged in advance before your arrival with our front desk at Hotel Cielo.Our driver will meet you at the terminal and take you directly to Hotel Cielo. Returns to the airport can also be arranged with our front desk and concierge.
Public bus - the public bus leaves the Cancun airport each hour and will drop passengers off at the main terminal in Playa del Carmen, which is a 2 block walk to Hotel Cielo. Tickets can be purchased at the airport or directly from the bus driver.
If you have arranged for a rental car at the Cancun airport, each rental car company has representatives at the airport that can direct you to their offices. Please refer to our driving directions to our hotel so you can park your vehicle in Playa del Carmen and print off the driving directions.

Arrival by Car
Going in the 307 Highway from Cancun:
Take HWY 307 south to Playa del Carmen (about 50 minutes) Take the HWY exit for Ave. Juarez when you reach Playa del Carmen. It is best not to take the overpass when you start approaching the city center. Turn left onto Ave. Juarez until you reach 10th Ave, the last stop light before you reach the ocean. Turn left on 10th Ave and there are two parking options. The first parking option is at Av. Juarez and 10th street. The next parking option is on the corner of 2nd street and 10th Ave (next block) Hotel Cielo is one block over and towards the beach. 10th Ave is the last street that allows vehicles on it, so you will have to find a parking lot or street parking.
Going north on the 307 Highway from Tulum:
Take HWY 307 north to Playa del Carmen (about 40 minutes) Remain in the collector lanes when you are approaching Playa del Carmen, do not take the overpass as your turn off to the hotel is the first main street into Playa, Ave. Juarez. Turn right onto Ave. Juarez until you reach 10th Ave, the last stop light before you reach the ocean. Turn left on 10th Ave and there are two parking options. The first parking option is at Av. Juarez and 10th street. The next parking option is on the corner of 2nd street and 10th Ave (next block) Hotel Cielo is one block over and towards the beach. 10th Ave is the last street that allows vehicles so you will have to find a parking lot or street parking.

Arrival by Public Transport
Central Bus Station on Av. Juarez
This is super easy! When you exit the bus station on 5th ave turn north, or to the left. Walk two blocks to 4th street, turn left and we are located on the right hand side of 4th street between 5th Ave and 10th Ave.
National Bus Station on 20th Ave and 12th street
If you are arriving from other cities in Mexico outside of the state you will be at the National Bus station on 12th and 20th. We recommend that you take a taxi to 4th street and 10th Ave and walk the half block to the hotel. Just look for the ocean and you are heading in the right direction!
This is super easy! When you exit the bus station on 5th ave turn north, or to the left. Walk two blocks to 4th street, turn left and we are located on the right hand side of 4th street between 5th Ave and 10th Ave.
National Bus Station on 20th Ave and 12th street
If you are arriving from other cities in Mexico outside of the state you will be at the National Bus station on 12th and 20th. We recommend that you take a taxi to 4th street and 10th Ave and walk the half block to the hotel. Just look for the ocean and you are heading in the right direction!
