"Loved It!"
- We loved our room and our whole experience at Hotel Cielo. The staff catered to our every need from a hair dryer to beach towels. The balcony was wonderful to people watch and enjoy an adult beverage. The breakfast was delicious at Carboncitos and a wonderful price with the 50% off for booking through the website. Don't ever change that perk! Looking forward to coming back and staying longer.

"Great Boutique Hotel"
- Right in the heart of Playa Del Carmen. Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful front desk staff. Excellent restaurant, part of the hotel, great for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"very friendly"
- we enjoyed our stay in a very clean hotel off the main drag. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was excellent, breakfast dinner and lunch. A very cute boutique hotel.

"Great Experience!"
- This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Hotel Cielo. We have found over the years that we really don't care for the all inclusive resorts. Hotel Cielo is in the middle of everything on 5th avenue. A short walk south and you are at the ferry port and Sr. Frogs, short walk north and you are at the end of the "tourista" district. We found Hotel Cielo and Carboncitos while staying at an all inclusive in Playacar. We found that Carboncitos makes our favorite authentic Mexican food. We were a little cautious about staying in a hotel instead of a resort because we are nervous gringos. Turns out, there was no reason to be worried. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Hotel Cielo and Carboncitos is an excellent place to stay and eat. Our experience has been excellent and we are ready to head back and be borracho's again. If you are wondering about the price difference between alacarte and all inclusive, we saved money vs a nice all inclusive. (riu,iberostar,playacar palace). Hope to be back here soon.
