"Perfect stay"
- We had a great stay in your hotel. We particularly loved the interiors and the general atmosphere. Please, don't change anything! Even the old TVs are super cool.

The breakfast could be a bit more diverse, but that's the only improvement I suggest.

- wer richtig eintauchen will, ins lebendige beyoglu, für den ist dieses schöne hotel genau richtig. man sitzt auf dem balkon, schaut aufs goldene horn und unten tobt das istanbuler nachtleben, besonders freitag und samstag abend.

"As amazing/beautiful/romantic as ever!!!"
- My husband Chris and I were at Buyuk Londra for our "second honeymoon" aka 10th year anniversary. I love this hotel so much. The facade, interiors, everyone who works here (Azimet Bey & Yasar Bey at reception), the owner (Ibrahim Bey), the parrot (Yakup) and the entire atmosphere makes it so magical, so Istanbul , so romantic and humble and gorgeous! We stayed at one of the Halic Balcony rooms. Our friends came to visit us and they ended up renting 2 other rooms. All were beautiful with great decor. Another unforgettable trip in Istanbul with the coziest stay and the greatest rooftop bar view and the lobby with the bar and backgammon... I have been staying here every time we visit Istanbul for 17 years now that I call it home. As a New Yorker architect, I highly appreciate the historic preservation of all elements of the hotel and it's one of my dreams to restore the facade to keep it as beautiful as it has been since 1892. Can't wait to be back for Xmas!
