- My favourite place on our trip. All the tranquility you would expect in a concerted convent, but without any deprivations. The property has lots of character and has been impressively converted. The swimming pool area (all in white) is particularly attractive. Dinner and breakfast in the courtyard were lovely. Our room was a converted cell - basic but comfortable with a very nice feel to it. The bathroom is also quite basic (shower over the bath etc), but everything is very clean. On the verandah that runs on the first floor above the courtyard are a number of day-beds - inspired! The dining room is contemporary and attractive. The food is unfussy but delicious. Staff speak no english but were delightful - we all managed perfectly well. (Menu is in english which is helpful). I would very happily hide myself away here for a few days. nb free wi-fi available.
