Reseliva Booking Engine is an online reservation platform, which helps you to sell successfully over the internet.
It also offers features to help you to keep in touch with your partners and customers, such as the possibility to customise prices and rates for special customers, define allocations, send automatic messages, request feedbacks automatically and communicate in a wide range of different languages.
Customers access Reseliva Booking Engine through your website via calendar control boxes, which are linked directly to your online booking engine.
2) How can I pay you? Do you collect the service fee from my guests?AnswerCollapse
We do not collect any form of payment from your guests.
We send you invoices on a monthly basis, which can be paid on line by credit card in your admin panel. If the amount due for a monthly period is below a certain threshold (20 Euros), we will not send you an invoice until the sum reaches the threshold.
3) How can my property start using Reseliva Booking Engine?AnswerCollapse
-You can apply online at www.reseliva.com to use Reseliva Booking Engine.
- When you apply to use Reseliva Booking Engine, you will be forwarded to the set-up section. You will also receive an email containing your login information, which you can use for future logins to your setup panel.This 15 minute set-up phase needs to be completed to create your booking engine.
- Once the set-up phase has been completed and approved by our staff, your property will be ready to receive bookings. However, you will need to install a Reseliva calendar control box on your website to allow guests to access your booking engine.
We will send you an e-mail containing a selection of these calendar control boxes. You need to choose one of these and request that we install it on your website. (Alternatively, your webmaster can do this for you.)
Meanwhile, we will send you the link to your property admin panel where you can manage all relevant information concerning your property, including inventory, rates and other settings.
The set-up phase requires minimum input to get your booking engine started. You can then continue to input further information about your property in your admin panel.
4) Can you install the code for the calendar control box on my website?AnswerCollapse
If your webmaster is unable to install the code on your website, we can take care of installing it for you. You simply need to ask your webmaster to send us the FTP details of your website host (username and password) and we will do the rest.
5) How do I manage inventory, rates and reservations with Reseliva?AnswerCollapse
An online control panel allows you to manage all relevant information concerning your property, including inventory, rates and other settings.
Your control panel is accessed with a personal log-in. Individual user profiles can be created for your personnel so that authorisation levels can be individually defined.
Reseliva naturally notifies you of all reservations, messages and other important updates by email, but it remains your full responsibility to check your control panel regularly for these updates.

8) Do you provide an interface with GDS (Sabre,Pegasus etc.) or other internet booking portals?AnswerCollapse
No, we do not provide an interface with any other booking system at the moment. Reseliva is designed to meet the needs of properties by receiving and managing reservations without the need for intermediaries. If you prefer to be connected to distribution channels and booking portals, it is still possible to do so directly.
9) Do my clients pay me? Or do you collect payment from customers on my behalf when they make their reservation?AnswerCollapse
We never collect any payment from your customers. It remains the property's full responsibility to collect all due payment from customers. Reseliva does not act as an intermediary between you and your customers in any way.
For your convenience, your booking engine can be connected with your virtual POS (please contact us concerning this service). Alternatively, you can use Paypal.
Or you may prefer to process credit cards manually. If this is the case, credit card details will be encrypted and sent to you securely for the purpose of charging deposits, cancellations and no-shows.
11) I do not want to work with credit cards. Can I still use Reseliva?AnswerCollapse
Yes, Reseliva allows you to choose either credit card payment or bank transfer for guaranteeing reservations. You are therefore able to specify bank transfer if you do not want to work with credit cards.
In addition, you are also able to accept non-guaranteed reservations. In this case, you can avoid working with banks and credit cards.
Since we are not a bank or a credit card processing company, we do not process credit cards online. However, we are able to configure your booking engine to allow online processing. In this case, your customer's credit card details will be submitted to your bank or credit card processing company so that payment can be processed online.
We recommend that you firstly consider if you really need such a service. Many properties do not charge credit cards to guarantee reservations at the time of booking. They simply request the customer's card details when the reservation is made and use the card details to charge cancellation or no-show penalties at a later date if required. The card details can also be inputted manually into the credit card POS terminal to charge a deposit payment. Integrating the booking engine with the credit card processing company is only necessary when the property wishes to collect payments instantaneously when the reservation is being made. However, this integration is considered unnecessary for many properties who simply benefit from our secure transmission of their customers' credit card details.
13) Does Reseliva guarantee reservations or verify credit cards?AnswerCollapse
No. Reseliva provides a multitude of online tools to assist you but does not act as an intermediary between you and your customers in any way. You are responsible for verifying reservations, communicating with your customers, charging credit cards and defining the policies by which reservations are guaranteed. Reseliva will check the authenticity of a credit card using the available methods, but is in no way responsible for guaranteeing its authenticity, ensuring the validity of a card or the presence of sufficient funds.
