"Loved It"
- My adult daughter and I traveled to Zanzibar and stayed at the Sazani. A highlight of our trip. The staff were great, Nikki is a gem and we thoroughly enjoyed the vibe. Several additions (listed below) could help with guests in the future. 1. While we didn't miss the pool there were several times we missed AC. Especially one evening when we were sick. The Sazani may want to think about building or designating a Lounge area with a computer, sofa and that can have AC. This way those that want to do some internet surfing can use the room and those that need a break from the sun can do so as well. Nothing big but AC while you are sick and it is stifling inside and out could be a lifesaver. 2. Very important to make sure the fans in the rooms work 100% of the time. The first night we woke up completely drenched in sweat. The electricity had gone out thus the fans were out. This can be very problematic when it is already very hot outside. I know the new units for the solar power were delivered while we were there and every effort should be made to ensure the fans receive one of the highest priorities. Much higher than lights as lamps and flashlights are fine. That's it, the service was fantastic, food good although limited choices but we understand given the size of the hotel. Loved the ability to get a massage, the morning yoga and ability to use local people to visit the reef rather than an expensive hotel. Thank you for helping us enjoy paradise.
