- I am a young woman from the USA who was backpacking through Turkey. In my three week trip to Turkey, I stayed two nights in this hotel. Out of anywhere, it was my favorite place to stay. The staff were helpful, kind, and attentive. I wanted to see the Sagalassos ruins and one of the staff members persuaded a family (who was interested, but unsure) to go with me so we could share the taxi cost (we all had a wonderful time!). The room was lovely, the bathroom clean (with a shower separate from the rest of the room), and the balcony with the view and breeze (ok, sometimes wind) from the lake was stunning. I ate dinner on the balcony - fish from the lake - which was lovely. Breakfast was "the usual" but had some nice additions - like cereal, oranges, etc. A very peaceful place to stay. One word of caution - I came via bus from Antalya, and for whatever reason, the bus didn't drop me at the otogar, but on the side of the road - with no directions or indication of what direction was where. Fortunately, Egirdir is a small town, and I made a guess as to which way was the peninsula and which way was the connected coast and I found the hostel easily from there (it's just behind the big castle with the red EGIRDIR letters on it). The staff also gave me helpful recommendations on transportation leaving Egirdir. I had a wonderful time and would strongly recommend this pension to anyone!
