The Mill of Molanoce is a B & B housed in a water-mill of the year 1600, already servants of the Benedictine monks; in the area there are amazing things, a dozen churches before the year one thousand, tens of castles in some of which occurred the bloody events that changed the history of Italy, such as Fort Caesar and the Castello di Casigliano. There are towns like Todi and Spoleto to be considered among the most attractive of Italy. But, Gubbio and Perugia are close, and Norcia, Castelluccio Assisi. Mountains and hills to live and to cross over roads where the landscape is so mindful in his own attraction between the sweetness of its roundness and beauty of his many shady woods to the traveler as to always say "You want to go back." Il complesso sorge nel Comune di Todi, frazione Rosceto, in località Sobrano; da Todi ci si arriva direttamente passando da Porta Romana e quindi percorrendo la strada comunale di Rosceto scalo; da Roma e da Perugia imboccando una delle uscite per Todi o Collevalenza. Si compone di un insieme di edifici residenziali e rurali con spazi aperti comuni, aia, giardino d'ingresso, giardino della villa, una piccola cappella privata completa la residenza che trova la sua anima nel castello, costruzione fortificata già esistente nel XIII sec.. La Villa padronale è di impianto ottocentesco con pianta che tende spazi simmetrici e sfalsati tra loro in quota, la facciata sul retro è quella principale e con scalea centrale affaccia su un giardino all'italiana. La Villa si sviluppa su tre piani sfalsati, da una ampia cantina sottostante e di una galleria, lunga 50m., ove sono site antiche botti di legno per l'invecchiamento del vino; si suddivide in 6 ampie stanze decorate a tempera, di cui due hanno il loro salotto di pertinenza; una sala colazione ed un salone comune. Vi è notizia documentata dell'esistenza di parte del complesso già dal 1200 (il castello appunto) che veniva utilizzato come residenza di campagna annessa ricchi vigneti da nobili tuderti , soprattutto del periodo della vendemmia a cavallo tra le due stagioni dell'estate e del autunno. Il complesso, detto "Villa Sobrano", costituendo un avamposto della strada che conduceva a Montecastrilli e di seguito a Roma, fu poi fortificato ed in seguito si arricchì di altri volumi tra cui la villa padronale.

Our facility is a typical rural Umbrian construction with brick and stone tiles, but we have combined the environment essential for us, and produce electricity with a photovoltaic system produce hot water with solar thermal heating and the 'air conditioning use a heat pump that guarantees maximum comfort and includes consumption. "La Ginestrella" is in the middest of a property of 35 hectares overlooking Perugia and Assisi on a hill side country, producing: extra vergin olive oil "La Corniola"; D.O.C. white and red wine of Assisi; fruits to make our own marmalade; wheat, sunflowers and corn. Our farm house was built on the '700 and has been restaured recently by keeping its intact character. Beatiful moulded limestones and hand-mode bricks from the local kiln are all kept on the restaurations made recently.
