The Hotel Ungherese is housed in a villa built in the early years of the century, at the foot of the hill leading to Fiesole, in the tranquil, residential area of San Gervasio, close to many sports facilities and a beautiful park. It can be reached from the city centre and the central station by car or by public transport in only a few minutes; the area is easy to park in, and the hotel also has an arrangement with a nearby private garage. All the rooms in the Hotel have a private bathroom, colour TV, telephone, safe deposit, hair­dryer and air conditioning. The villa is enhanced by a large terrace, and by an enchating garden, where one may enjoy a lavish breakfast or a pleasant drink. Stylishly decorated, with period furniture and paintings, the Hotel retains the name given to it by its founder, a Hungarian gentlewoman, some of whose personal historic effects survive (such as the coat­of­arms of the Austro­Hungarian monarchy, and the portraits of the prince, and Hungarian hero, Ferenc II Rakoczi, and Elizabeth "Sissi", the Empress of Austria and Queen of Hungary).

The hotel-residence is located in a small village in the municipality of Greve in Chianti in Greve (7 km) and Florence (23km). Most of the rooms and apartments are built in a country house of 700. Each room and apartment has its own private entrance. At the back there are 7000 square meters of green area with tables, chairs and pool. Being in the countryside there are problems with parking which is then free. To visit Chianti, you need a transport (car, scooter, bike, whatever…), but the hotel-residence is well served by public transport connection with the city of Florence from Monday to Saturday inclusive. In the structure there is a restaurant where you can choose to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The hours are: - For breakfast: 08:00 to 10:30, - For lunch: 12:00-14:00, - For dinner: 19:00-21:30 (winter) 19:00 to 22:00 (summer).

Gianna's is a ONE-ROOM B & B on the second floor of a 15th century building situated at the northern end of Florence's historical centre. Unfortunately, there is NO LIFT: however the 34 stairs are divided into four flights and, by Florentine standards at least, are not steep! Gianna's B & B is close to the Academy Art gallery, St Mark's Museum, the central San Lorenzo market and the Fortezza da Basso exhibition and trade-fair centre. The main railway station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella) is a fifteen-minute walk, the Cathedral a ten-minute walk. Gianna's B & B has only ONE ROOM. This room is on two levels and can accommodate a maximum of THREE adults: there is a single bed on the upper level and two single beds or a double bed on the lower level. Upon request one of the armchairs can be converted into a narrow single bed (75 cm wide). The bathroom (shower, hand-basin, bidet and lavatory) is on the upper level: a shower-cap and hair-dryer are provided. Te room has two large windows, hydronic heating and air-conditioning. Two armchairs, a large book case with books in Italian and English and a table with three chairs (where breakfast is served) are on the lower level as is the little kitchenette which contains a small fridge, a toaster, a sink and an electric kettle. Plates, cups, glasses, cutlery, a tea-pot and a coffee brewer are provided should you wish to prepare yourselves a snack or light meal. Coffee, yoghourt, fruit, biscuits, breakfast cereals, orange juice, water, crackers, and a selection of teas are also provided at no additional charge. A generous freshly-prepared Continental breakfast is served in your room at the time of your choice. Please let us know before-hand if you have particular dietary requirements.
