Equus Erro is strategically located in the surrounding area of the National Park of Machalilla in the community of Las Tunas. It is geared toward professionals whose objectives are education; science, strategy, student projects, interrelation with the community and development, ecotourism, meetings or simply relaxation. The southern zone of Manabí has a variety of beaches, forests, deep cliffs, a great diversity of species and a 5,000 year old historical reference. The National Park of Machalilla is located in this zone (PNM). It is the only protected territory in continental Ecuador with a marine area of 2 nautical miles and conservation areas. In the months of June through October we are visited by Hump Back Whales (Megapthera Novangleae) and by a variety of dolphins the rest of the year, which can be observed from the beach. In the area we have a primary forest, a dry tropical forest and a humid tropical forest and sites that have yet to be explored like the enchanted caves that hold myths and legends.
