*Important ! The chair lift located next to the apartment is normally only operational between the 24th December to the middle of April. Depending on snow conditions. The other T-bars in Tärnaby and Hemavan are normally open from early November to Late April.
Guests should always check with the ski lift company for operational times and weather updates.

Boat House ( 8+1 bed )

Spacious with cathedral high ceilings, our 8 bed Boat House Holiday home is situated opposite the lake. Built in 2006 , this house is available as a ski-lodge during the winter ski season . It has a loft bedroom with 4 beds and a sofa , a large living area with three sofas ( one of which is a double sofa bed ) and a dining table for 10 people. There is also a 52 inch flat screen ! There is a fully equipped kitchen which has a bar opening to the living area. It has two bathrooms with showers and toilet. . One small bedroom suitable for kids or adults with a bunk bed.
Off the main living area are double doors leading to a large balcony.

Top House ( 9+2 bed )

Our Top House is secluded and perched on a hill overlooking the lake and mountains. It features 3 bedrooms and can sleep a maximum of 11 guests. There is a garage which is predominantly used for guests for ski waxing/preparation, so perfect for ski teams. Open plan kitchen-dining room with large dining table and door leading out to balcony. Spacious tv room with 2 sofas and a bunk bed. Situated less than 1km to ski slopes. ( it is possible to off-piste back to the house if you're a good skier/snowboarder ) A large wood-fired barrel sauna is available for rental.
A steep drive way up to the house may be difficult for a car without 4wd. However there is parking area down below.
Vårt Top House ligger avsides belägen på en kulle med härlig utsikt över sjön och fjällen. Det har 3 sovrum och kan ta emot max 11 gäster. Ett garage finns tillgängligt och används främst för skidvaxning och förvaring av skidutrustning. Perfekt för skidlag.
Huset har en kök/ matsal med öppen plan och stort matbord och dörr som leder ut mot balkongen.
Rymligt Tv rum med 2 soffor och en våningsäng.
Det är nära till slalombackarna, cirka 1 Km (det är möjligt att åka off-pist tillbaka till huset om man är en duktig skidåkare/ snowboardåkare). Det finns en vedeldad bastutunna som går att hyra.
En ganska brant backe leder upp till huset och kan vara svår att ta sig upp utan fyrhjulsdrift ,det går dock också fint att parkera nedanför kullen.

It has lake and mountain views with two kitchens , 3 bathrooms and a ski waxing room. There are two TV's ; one of which is a 42 inch flat screen. Beds vary from singles, to doubles and bunk beds. A large wood-fired barrel sauna is available for rental.

Tärnaby is located in Southern Lapland, about 900 kms North of Stockholm, 360 kms North of the University City of Umeå and lies close to the Norwegian border. Tärnaby is 19 km south of Hemavan Airport and 117km south of the city of Mo i Rana in Norway. The Atlantic coast of Norway is just over an hour's drive away with spectacular fjords and beautiful islands to see and discover. |

The ski town of Tärnaby ( TÆRNABY, Taernaby ) is linked to Hemavan to form Tärnaby-Hemavan Ski Resort. The towns are about 17kms apart and your lift-pass covers all the lifts in both towns. The ski-season starts in November and finishes at the end of April or in early May.
We have reduced our portfolio of apartments so we can concentrate more on renovations of our guest house and adjoining buildings. We have our Top House perched on a hill with beautiful views of the lake and mountains, our Boat House and our Lake House, all with wonderful views. Situated about 1.2 km's away is our Piste Apartment in Tärnaby Fjällby (mountain village) in Tärnaby positioned right next to 'Hassebacken' ski-slope and 'Linbanan' Chairlift.
We also rent out the whole of our Lake House guesthouse during winter which has 15+1 beds or our large ' Top House' with 9+2 beds on the hill next door to our Lake House ( The number of beds and the layout changes depending on the seasons )
Our Boat House has spacious cathedral-ceilings and is perfect for the large family or group of friends. |
