"Loved It"
- My adult daughter and I traveled to Zanzibar and stayed at the Sazani. A highlight of our trip. The staff were great, Nikki is a gem and we thoroughly enjoyed the vibe. Several additions (listed below) could help with guests in the future. 1. While we didn't miss the pool there were several times we missed AC. Especially one evening when we were sick. The Sazani may want to think about building or designating a Lounge area with a computer, sofa and that can have AC. This way those that want to do some internet surfing can use the room and those that need a break from the sun can do so as well. Nothing big but AC while you are sick and it is stifling inside and out could be a lifesaver. 2. Very important to make sure the fans in the rooms work 100% of the time. The first night we woke up completely drenched in sweat. The electricity had gone out thus the fans were out. This can be very problematic when it is already very hot outside. I know the new units for the solar power were delivered while we were there and every effort should be made to ensure the fans receive one of the highest priorities. Much higher than lights as lamps and flashlights are fine. That's it, the service was fantastic, food good although limited choices but we understand given the size of the hotel. Loved the ability to get a massage, the morning yoga and ability to use local people to visit the reef rather than an expensive hotel. Thank you for helping us enjoy paradise.

"lovely stay"
- We had a lovely stay at Sazani Beach resort. The only improvements we would recommend in on the bathroom in our room, which lets the place down a bit. The walls were dirty and the loo seat was broken. Apart from that it was a delightful room and place in general, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

"Very beautiful cottage - excellent views over the sea and beach."
- Very cute cottages in a quiet spot at the North Beach. A lot of privacy. Large bathrooms and nice decorated bedrooms. I would very much recommend this hotel.
The only downside is that it is very hard to find this hotel if you are arriving with your own transport. The website of the hotel doesn't show a real address or they don't give proper direction online. Besides that on Google Maps the hotel is wrongly indicated, https://maps.google.nl/maps?ie=UTF-8&q=Sazani+Beach+Hotel&fb=1&gl=nl&hq=Sazani+Beach+Hotel&cid=0,0,14688865353952101429&ei=tU2hULK9Jeem0QX4pYDwBg&ved=0CHoQ_BIwAA. (The hotel is actually more eastwards.) Hopefully the hotel will change this soon.
But beside this - stay at this place!

- Good hotel. The room is simple and clean. Staff is very friendly and ready to assist you. Village is about 20-30 min away by foot. Beach is perfect - white powder sand, clean coast line, coral reef away so you can do some snorkelling. Very quiet place - just the sounds of tide and the wind. Perfect retreat from a busy city life! Had a great time, Thank you!
