Feel like a castaway at Sazani Beach. Our 10 room beach lodge is a perfect paradise for beach lovers, kite surfers
and divers. Our ensuite bungalows are designed in a traditional Swahilli style with coconut thatch roofs in a
tropical garden setting, each with a veranda and sandy path down to our secluded pristine beach
and the turquoise ocean.
We have a restaurant serving a fusion of Zanzibar spice and global cuisine, bar and sun terrace and a shaded area with sun loungers and hammocks.
We do not have AC or a pool as we are working towards becoming a sustainable ecolodge. |

Sazani Beach is located on the northern peninsula of Zanzibar, along the scenic Nungwi coast. The hotel features ensuite rooms, all with sea views, in a tropical garden setting. Our secluded beach with azure waters is amongst the best in Zanzibar and offers a paradise for both scuba diving and snorkeling enthusiasts alike or for those simply looking to soak up the peace of this unique island off the mainland of Tanzania.
The feel is tranquil and the service is friendly and welcoming. We are popular with people looking for an exclusive hideaway and offer excellent value for money. Single people often stay with us and enjoy the convivial and welcoming atmosphere. The bar and restaurant serves original dishes with local flavor, specializing in seafood and barbecues. |

Your day starts with morning tea delivered to the verandah, followed by a buffet breakfast. Optional lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant close to the beach offering variety of dishes from a menu or to order of the guests. We specialize in fish dishes because of the abundant supply of fresh fish, king fish, tuna, octopus, wahoo cooked in the Zanzibari style. Other dishes are always available and snacks and sandwiches can be ordered at any time.
Our attractive and very popular beach side bar, with panoramic views over the Indian Ocean, is the place to enjoy beer, wine, cocktails with a Zanzibari twist or non-alcoholic drinks, while socialising with other guests. |

The secluded bungalows set in colorful gardens which extend to the shore, offer attractive accommodation, a spectacular view, privacy and access to our large, beautiful beach.
There are ten rooms, all en-suite, with double or twin beds and verandah, electricity and fans. The rooms are ensuite with solar powered hot water. All overlook the beach, and are constructed and sited in the traditional Zanzibari manner to stay cool in the hot weather.
We offer massage and yoga at the hotel and can arrange other activities such as diving, snorkelling and excursions. |
