North Lodge caters to both business and leisure travelers. In addition to the popular one and two bedroom self contained apartments, we also boast a three bedroom apartment (sleeps 15), which is ideal for large families and groups.
Our promise to you includes clean, spacious and comfortable rooms; all our apartments have fully equipped kitchens including oven, microwave and refrigerator. We can even stock the pantry with your favourite foods prior to your arrival.

City Park
The beautiful City Park is located in the heart of Launceston. This stunning parkland features a Japanese Macaque monkey enclosure, Albert Hall, the John Hart Conservatory, historic monuments, picturesque gardens with amazing flora and fauna, a duck pond, a barbeque area and a fun filled children’s playground.
Tamar River
The wonderful Tamar River is, in actual fact, an estuary. However, it can be navigated it’s entire length, so take time out for a river cruise and enjoy the magnificent scenery.
Boags Brewery
If you appreciate the finer things in life, why not take a tour of the historic James Boag’s Brewery – taste the entire range of James Boag’s beers from award-winning premium lagers to the finest quality ales.
Aurora Stadium
Aurora Stadium is the part-time home ground of the Hawthorn Football Club and the number one Australian Rules Football ground in Tasmania – if you have time, we would definitely recommend you take in a game.
Barnbougle Golf Courses

Cataract Gorge
The Gorge Reserve boasts the longest single chairlift in the world – this is not to be missed! Enjoy the amazing walking and hiking tracks, lookouts and suspension bridge, then relax in the Victorian gardens and enjoy a cappuccino in the restaurant or cafe.
