“Just wanted to say thanks for such an enjoyable stay. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, location is superb, great cheap meals. For us golden oldie kiwis it ticked all the boxes, plus great company of the other backpackers. When we were delayed and mucked around with the ash cloud problems the staff went out of their way to find a way to accommodate us. We will be back!” Carole Evans

24 hour coin-operated Laundry – If it’s been 3 – 6 months since you’ve done your washing, have no fear! We provide laundry facilities on the lower level. Wash and dry for $4.00. So, if you’re smelly, we can help!
Here @ MHB we also cater to FAMILIES/GROUPS.
Our family rooms consist of a double bed and 6 singles with an ensuite and use of facilities and all other inclusions.
