L’albergo familiare “Stambolov” è situato nella parte vecchia della città di Velio Tarnovo, in via “Stefan Stambolov” 27, la quale è un itinerario turistico fondamentale e un’arteria principale della città. L’edificio è costruito dall’artefice del Risorgimento bulgaro Kolyu Ficheto nella metà dell’Ottocento. Viene restaurato nel 2006 conservando lo spirito originale e l’architettura della vecchia capitale. La casa è un monumento architettonico e fa parte del panorama della vecchia città. È molto vicina alla via Gurko, al complesso architettonico “Samovodska Charshia”, alla fortezza storica Tsarevets. La sera gli appassionati del turismo culturale possono godere lo spettacolo unico e eccezionale “Suono e luce”.
