***About the House
"La Posada del Museo" is a single and well-preserved Victorian building recently restored to its old splendour which is at a stone throw from the historical area. Parks, museums, markets, shops, excellent restaurants, cinemas, etc...
It was built in 1928 for the former president of the National Bank of Costa Rica and later was the favorite domain of a well-known Costa Rican family. It is an excellent wooden building remodeled and converted into an amazing small hotel with all the facilities and comfort of the big and modern ones. Splendidly decorated, it reflects the personality of its owners: exquisite, friendly, educated and well traveled, they speak several languages and would be just too happy to cater for you to meet every possible need and make of your stay in "La Posada del Museo" an experience you will never forget. |
