It is my pleasure to welcome you to the "City of Roses"! Within the following pages you will find information on travel alternatives for travelers who might enjoy the comforts of a large home over the many hotels here in the center of this large metropolis, with the same pay as you go amenities that the nice hotels offer for a much lower overall inclusive price.

Our Guest House is perfectly located in the center of this city. It is not your standard Bed & Breakfast as you will see if you look at what is offered here. We also like to keep our policies less stringent on check-in and check out times, unless a paid guest is waiting for a room. If there is no one waiting, feel free to relax over another cup of coffee and enjoy the company of other guests in residence. There is secure baggage area for you to store your items until departure, so the room can be cleaned.

For those thinking about attending the Pan American Games in 2011, you might want to bookmark this site for updated information on the event. We are proud to be hosting the games. Many venues will be close to this property, and all the way to Puerto Vallarta. It would make an excellent vacation to plan in advance to stay closer to the events you would most enjoy!

All appliances are accessible to all guests .It is always helpful to ask other guests when they are planning to prepare meals or use appliances such as washer and dryer, so that all guests can enjoy all amenities at different times.

The kitchen is just waiting to be used for those who enjoy cooking or just want to stay in rather than eat out all meals, every day, other than included breakfast. There is plenty of room in the large refridgerator, freezer, and cabinets for your private purchases. Again, if planning a dinner for friends, or hiring me or another staff member to cook a meal for a group of friends, please let me know in advance to alert other guests so they can eat at a different time, or use another dining area in this roomy home.

There are four bathrooms in this house. I rent out 4 guestrooms, all recently renovated. Check rates page for different arrangements, and what a "shared bathroom" means when changing bedroom logistics.

Irons and ironing boards available for your use. There are many good, inexpensive dry cleaners and sewing shops throughout this comfortable neighborhood.

Music systems are throughout the house, including all bedrooms. Detachable speakers are available to connect to a laptop, that can be shared by guests who want to listen to music while surfing the web or getting some on-line work done while at home, or your laptop can be plugged into the main stereo system to enjoy Serius/XM satelite commercial free radio stations and talk programs from around the world, as well as the commercial free cable in each room. p>

Again, free phone service to North America, with new satelite headsets in bedrooms that can be used as intercom systems to me or guests in other rooms. These new phones are set for privacy, so when you lift your phone, it is your private phone call, no one elses.

New, and no cost washer and dryer ( Again, please let other guests know when you would like to do your laundry. I have found many times that we all seem to choose the same time or day. In Mexico water comes from a cistern on the roof. I have a large one, but as in the U.S. water is conserved, not wasted. I recommend liquid detergent for your clothes as well as a softner. The water here does not seem to dissolve the powders unless you are washing with only hot water.
