Il Vigno offers a relaxing swimming pool surrounded by a garden, and panoramic terraces with beautiful views of the countryside. A pine-wood runs along the Camaiano Torrent, which bounds the property. The Taverna offers a tasing menù with first course and a choice of tuscan wines

Bio Agriturismo Il Vigno rapresents an ideal starting point to combine relax and cultural, artistic and gastronomic itineraries. In the large and cosy taverna you can enjoy pleasant moments reading a good book, listening to some music, playing one of the games avalaible there or enjoing some of our tipical dishes with a good glass of tuscan wine. All the taverna is a Wi Fi area and there is a computer available for the guests.
The farm holiday "IL VIGNO" offers you the possibility to have also a relaxing time in the open air, by the swimming pool on the meadows, on its panoramic terraces or in the pine-wood along the Camaiano torrent, which bounds the property, or in the spaces furnished with tables, deck chairs and barbecue. The autumn period is particularly favourable for the mushrooms harvesting and the tasting of chestnuts, which are one of the peculiarities of this area. Mountain bikes and maps of the paths of Valtiberina are also available for those who want to practise sports, hiking and relaxing walks. |

Located at about four Kilometres far from Caprese Michelangelo, the native land of Michelangelo Buonarroti, the farm holiday "IL VIGNO" is situated in a particulary suggestive landscape. Completely surrounded by an uncontaminated nature, it overlooks a wonderful view on the valley and over ancient chestnut groves. |

Due to its strategic position, the farm holiday Il Vigno is an ideal starting point for cultural, gastronomic and religious itineraries through small villages, parishes and monasteries of Tuscany.
In the immediate surroundings, besides Michelangelo Buonarroti's native house, you can visit the Sanctuary of "Chiusi della Verna", a mystic place where St. Francesco of Assisi received the stigmata, or the splendid Anghiari, which has recently gained the denomination of one of the most wonderful villages in Italy. In few minutes it's also possible to reach The Casentino with is beautiful National Park and with his famous villages such Poppi, Camaldoli and Bibbiena.
Monterchi and Sansepolcro preserve some of the most representative works of Piero della Francesca such as the "Madonna del Parto", the "Resurezione" and the polyptich of the "Misericordia".
In less than one hour you can reach by car the most important cultural centres such as Perugia, Giubbio, Città di Castello, Arezzo and Rimini, while it will take less than two hours to get to towns famous all over the world such as Siena and Florence .

The restaurant offer (only on request) a menù of tipical dishes and local products: ham, salami and cold cuts, cheeses, crostini e bruschette, salad and vegetables, starters in general with a first course (pasta or risotto) for 20 € per person (wines excluded). NMost of the products used by the kitchen comes directly from the Agriturismo or are purchuased from organical farms of the area.
