- We enjoyed our stay at Bayside Villas. John and Shirley were very friendly and helpful and the views from the balcony were fantastic. There was always something to look at, whether it be boats, planes, birds or just the beautiful view. We loved using the local buses to get around. Always an experience, very cheap and great fun. The outside space is not very private, but we got on well with the other couples and even had a joint barbecue one evening.

"Fantastic view and apartment and great hosts"
- This apartment is ideal for a couple who are adventurous and dont mind interacting with the locals. The apartment has the most fantastic view of Castries bay which was a real pleasure to wake up to every morning. It is very well equipped and ideal for self catering with modern kitchen appliances. The bed was quite uncomfortable though and needed more pillows and a softer mattress. Woke up with severe back ache every morning. For the price it was ideal. However you are not within walking distance of any shops. The Sandals beach is about 15/20 walk down hill which remember you have to walk back up. Ask John to sort out a day pass which costs 95USD each which gives you full access to the resort and all the food and drink you can eat. We were told by another couple staying there not to use the public path access to the beach which in their words was "disgusting" and very unpleasant. I would also recommend hiring a car although the roads are very windey and it takes you along time to get anywhere. We have the most fantastic taxi driver - Antony who was fantastic at taking us around. However be warned he is expensive. There is a local bus into town and beyond but they are cramped and busy and to get a bus back to the apartment you will have to wait around inside the bus until the bus is full - and it gets hot in there. So overall - lovely apartment - great hosts and a great view and excellent value for money. Thanks to John and Shirley.

"Great stay in St. Lucia"
- We stayed in the L'Ixora apartment for one week. We found the apartment to be a great value for the price. John & Shirley were wonderful and helped us to navigate the area, the bus system, etc. The driver, Antony, that they sent for us at the airport was amazing and we used him several times over the course of our stay. Thanks for everything!

"10 stars!"
- This was our second stay in Bayside Villa. We stayed in the brand new 1-bedroom apartment. It is fully equipped,and very clean, just as the other two. The fantastic view overlooking the bay and the cruise ships right from the patio is absolutely beautiful. You could sit from sunrise to sunset watching it,your feet up, sipping your cold drink or coffee. Sooo relaxing! The villa and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. We enjoyed the frequent mini bus rides with locals, 5 min. to town.John and Shirley are the best hosts, not hovering over you, but always helpful if you need anything.
